Recycled Cow Horn jewellery from Kenya
Amani (Swahili for peace) are a group of women from a number of East African ethnic tribes who live in the Kibera township in Nairobi. Kibera has over 1 million people living in 2.5sq kms. There are estimated to be 50,000 aids orphans alone living in Kibera. This project gives these women not only an income source, but a supportive network of friends, and above all - hope for the future.
This jewellery is made from the horns of cattle.
